One vendor, one suite, one renewal

Darkside Bundle | The Whole Suite, One Price

Count the renewal emails. A theme license, a builder, a slider, a forms plugin, an SEO plugin, a security plugin, a redirect manager, a newsletter service billed per contact, an invoicing tool, a project tool, a white label reporting subscription. Eleven invoices, eleven renewal dates, eleven vendors, eleven support desks, and eleven chances for one of them to be sold, sunsetted or repriced.

Made In The Dark ran sixty competitor comparisons across the suite to find out what the alternative actually costs. The cheapest equivalent stack we could assemble, choosing the least expensive credible option in every category, came to $877 a year. Not the stack anyone would actually buy. The cheapest one that exists.

What sprawl costs in practice

The published prices tell the story on their own. Yoast SEO Premium is $118.80 a year for one site. WooCommerce is free until you need subscriptions at $279 a year, table rate shipping at $119 and PDF invoices at $149. Wordfence Premium is $149 a year for one site. WPForms is $49.50 for the first year and $99 after. FluentCRM Pro is $129 a year for one site. White labeling a client report costs $351 a year at SEOptimer and $1,599 at WooRank.

Then there is the pattern this market complains about most: intro pricing that doubles at renewal. WPForms, All in One SEO, SeedProd, WP Simple Pay and Formidable all do it. The number you evaluated is not the number you pay in year two.

The bundle

The Darkside Suite Bundle is $499 a year, on as many sites as you build, with updates and support included. It covers Darkside Theme, Core, Builder and Slideshow, then Store, Invoices, Darkroom, Rank, SEO Tools, Marketing, Translate, Security, Forms, Redirects, Maintenance, and Projects and Social as they release.

Bought separately those products come to $788, of which Projects and Social are currently pre-order. Redirects and Maintenance are free either way.

Unlimited sites is the part that matters to the segment this is built for. In a 2026 survey of 210 agencies and freelancers by CloudLinux and WebPros, 78% were teams of ten or fewer and 18% managed more than a hundred client sites. Per site licensing prices exactly the wrong variable, because the cost of supporting an agency does not scale with how many sites it builds.

Why one vendor

Every product in the suite is a separate plugin with its own tables, its own options and its own license, and none of them reads another one’s data. Where a sibling is installed, a plugin uses what that sibling already publishes rather than building it again. Where the sibling is absent, everything still works. You install what you need.

Seventeen plugins, each with its own license, each switched on one at a time

What you do not do is assemble it from eleven companies and hope they all still exist next year.

Seventeen products. Unlimited sites. One renewal date.
